The air-conditioned room at Fattoria dei Nonni was like stepping back in time with its classic wooden furniture and flat-screen TV. I felt cozy and at home, and the wood-beamed ceilings added a touch of rustic charm. The private bathroom was clean and well-equipped with toiletries and a hairdryer. Plus, having a terrace was an added bonus.
Personally, I found the electric kettle in the quadruple room to be a bit unnecessary. But hey, to each their own!

The room was spacious and had a nice balcony with great views. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure to cater to my food allergies. The food at breakfast and dinner was delicious, using fresh ingredients which made it even better. the hotel had a nice and quiet atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing holiday.
The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas left much to be desired. The pool area, in particular, was not clean and didn't seem inviting for a swim.

During our stay at La Fattoria Dei Nonni, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm and genuine hospitality we received. Not only did the management upgrade our accommodations without us even asking, but they also offered us a complimentary welcome drink upon our arrival. The spacious apartments were beautifully appointed and had a lovely verandah where we could relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The breakfast each morning was fresh and abundant, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The pool area was perfect for both adults and children, and our 4-year-old daughter had a fantastic time playing there and on the well-equipped playground. We only regretted not being able to stay longer, as our whole experience was nothing short of perfect. We will definitely be returning! I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional hospitality and wonderful amenities.

The rooms at Fattoria dei Nonni are so lovely! They have a classic feel with wooden furniture and a flat-screen TV. The air conditioning is a big plus for me, and I love the fact that the rooms have a private bathroom with all the necessary toiletries. The wood-beamed ceilings give the rooms a cozy ambiance, and having a terrace or a balcony is such a treat. it's like stepping into a picture-perfect countryside retreat.
For me, the only downside was the electric kettle in the quadruple room. I personally prefer having a coffee maker instead.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming guest house in Paterno, Sicily. La Fattoria Dei Nonni Guest House exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality of Francesco and his family made me feel right at home. the spacious and beautifully decorated apartments were a delight, with a lovely verandah and enough room to comfortably accommodate up to five people. the breakfast spread was fresh and plentiful, and I particularly enjoyed the refreshing welcome drink offered by Francesco. the highlight of my stay was the pool area, which was well, equipped for children and provided a picturesque view of the beautiful countryside. I also appreciated the playground, which my 4, year, old daughter absolutely loved.
I only wish I could have stayed longer at this wonderful place, but I will definitely be back in the future. Cons: Couldn't stay longer 😔.

The kids were fascinated by the volcanic landscape and we enjoyed exploring the ancient ruins. The knowledgeable guides provided great insights into the history of the area. It was a truly memorable experience for the whole family.
For dads, it would be great to have more kids' activities organized within the hotel premises.

We had an amazing experience at this charming agriturismo! the spacious and beautifully decorated rooms were clean and comfortable. the hosts, Angela and Francesco, were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. the delicious homemade food and delightful breakfasts were a highlight of our stay. the property's stunning pool, surrounded by fruit trees and olive groves, provided a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. We also enjoyed purchasing their high-quality olive oil.
One small drawback was the limited English spoken by the hosts, but their warmth and hospitality made up for it.

We had a blast exploring Catania, which was only 25 km away. The city was buzzing with energy and we had so much fun checking out the local shops and cafes. And let's not forget about Mount Etna and the nearby medieval castles. It was like stepping into a movie! The views were epic and we felt like adventurers exploring ancient ruins. It was the ultimate adrenaline rush!
The only thing we would've liked is more nightlife options for young party-goers like us. While the hotel itself was super cool, there wasn't much happening in terms of clubs or bars nearby.
